Seven Wonders of Ukraine

Organizing Committee of the All-Ukrainian action "Seven Wonders of Ukraine" named seven historical and cultural memorials that deserve the title of the miracle of Ukraine

In the list of "seven wonders of Ukraine" were:

1. National Park Kamianets
2. Kiev-Pecherska Lavra
3. Sofiyivka
4. Sophia Cathedral
5. Chersonesos
6. Hotinskaya Fortress
7. Khortytsya

Wonders of Ukraine have been identified based on Internet voting and the poll of 100 experts - scientists, historians and culture experts, specialists in the tourism industry.

All-Ukrainian action "Seven Wonders" was initiated by a famous politician Mykola Tomenko and launched in May this year. Then the regional organizing committees submitted their candidates for the title of "seven wonders". Among them was drawn up a list of 100 applicants.

July 7 council of experts has been named 21 nominees in the fight for the title.

Organizers of the rally have promised to place in tourist guides information in foreign languages not only about the "seven wonders" but about every 21 Ukrainian attractions that you can proudly show the world. Perhaps after the rally and will be a general list of all the historical monuments of the country, which still does not.

It should be noted that Internet users who participated in the vote, and some experts disagreed.
